Owner, CEO & Sales Manager of Wolseley Kombucha (She/Her)
Michelle's journey into the world of healthy beverages began with a deep-rooted passion for creating elixirs that nourish the body and soul. Her introduction to kombucha was nothing short of transformative—she was captivated by its vibrant taste, the rich benefits of its unique culture, and the wholesome blend of tea and botanicals, all while being low in sugar, functional and delicious!
Driven by a desire to craft a fizzy, functional fermented drink, Michelle founded Wolseley Kombucha, using only REAL organic ingredients. Each batch of kombucha is raw, undiluted, and fully fermented, designed to enhance your well-being and invigorate your spirit.
Michelle's entrepreneurial spirit has garnered recognition; she has been a finalist for WBOM’s Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award for three consecutive years and proudly won the Emerging Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2021. In 2024, Wolseley Kombucha won for best Manitoba Product by Food and Beverage Manitoba along with the Sustainability award for their earth conscious practices.
When she's not busy running her business, you can find Michelle in a cold plunge or cold creek somewhere, embracing wellness at a yoga studio or wellness retreat, enjoying quality time with her daughter and husband, or dancing to live music at local festivals.
MEET JESS
Operations Manager and Head Brewer (They/Them)
Jess has worked in the food and beverage industry for over 15 years, and on three continents. They have a background in managing roasteries and breweries and educating in specialty coffee, tea, and beer. A passion for fermentation and yeast emerged through years of being a keen gardener and preserving produce, baking, and brewing. Jess discovered kombucha in Scotland when living with roommates from around the world who had funny looking jars bubbling away on the shared kitchen counter. Years later they’ve found themselves completely immersed in fermented tea, with no chance of looking back.
Jess has a hand in all behind the scenes aspects of Wolseley Kombucha, managing our fermentation and brewing schedules, and our general day to day. Find them on Wall St. behind a steamy kettle brewing, or under a pile of botanicals developing fun new flavours for our detox boxes.
In the evenings you might see Jess cycling to your favourite taproom to read a book. Or you won’t see them at all because they’re in their Wolseley kitchen starting yet another project that will more than likely take three days to complete.

MEET TIA
Brewery and Packaging Technician (She/Her)
Tia brings her 12 years of experience in the customer service field to Wolseley Kombucha, ensuring each taproom customer gets a friendly greeting and conversation while getting their refills! Her love for kombucha began when experiencing gut health issues in 2018 and her passion for the fermented powerhouse has only grown from there.
When she’s not at the taproom slinging booch, you can find Tia on a hike in Eastern Manitoba, lifting weights at the gym or knee deep in home renovations and decorations.
