What is kombucha?
[ kuh m-boo-chuh ]
Kombucha is a fermented tea made with a living culture called a SCOBY, organic tea and sugar. The sugar is consumed by the SCOBY and transformed through the fermentation process into organic acids leaving a fizzy, low sugar, functional probiotic beverage that is good for gut health.
Our kombucha is fermented for 6 weeks, so feel good about drinking Wolseley Kombucha knowing it’s low sugar and fully fermented.
We source as many local fruit, tea and botanicals as possible by collaborating with Valley Field Acres Fruit Farm in Morden, Corneila Bean in Winnipeg and Awaken Herb Farm just north of the city!
